New High-Flow Performance Gas Distribution Switchover Yields Maximum Value for Pipeline, Diverse Applications

Switchover Offers Industry's Lowest Dollar-Per-Cubic-Foot of Flow Capacity

April 20, 2006 - Virginia Beach, VA - Expanding the scope of automatic gas switchovers, CONCOA has introduced the 632 High-Flow Performance Series.

Delivering a continuous supply of gas from a left/right cylinder bank configuration and consistent pressure utilizing pressure-differential technology, the two-stage 632 Series is ideal for pipeline and other high-flow applications. Available in 15, 50 or 120 psig delivery models, it is also well-suited for a wide range of blanketing, purging, welding and heating applications.

Offering industry's lowest dollar-per-cubic-foot of flow capacity, Series 632 enables users to select from either liquid or high-pressure cylinders as the most cost-effective mode of supply. Its flexible design allows for delivery of oxygen, carbon dioxide and inert gases at flow rates beyond the capabilities of traditional switchovers. When integrated with individual pigtail flash arrestors, intrinsic safety barriers and Advantium alarms, the switchover exceeds all NFPA, UL and NEC code requirements for safe handling of flammable gases.

A user-friendly priority arrow provides simple cylinder use identification and control from a single-valve body design, simplifying operation and reducing threaded connections for safe delivery of hydrogen and other fuel gases. CONCOA's proven high-flow balance stem seat design of Series 632, coupled with either the 628 or the 629 manifold, allows it to supply 50-75 use points from low-pressure acetylene, propane or MAPP cylinders. Brass bar stock design allows maximum inlet pressure of 4,500 psig.

Certified ISO 9001, CONCOA manufactures a complete quality line of gas pressure and flow control equipment and delivery systems for worldwide medical, industrial, and specialty gas applications as well as distribution equipment for laser materials processing.
