Bussmann® Low-Peak® Fuses Now Offer Optional Permanent Fuse Indication

As Always, Low-Peak Fuses Reduce Downtime, Inventory and Arc-Flash Hazard.

ST. LOUIS - The newly extended Bussmann® Low-Peak® fuse line with optional permanent replacement fuse indication speeds troubleshooting by quickly locating the open fuse. The indicator is either black or white; no in between coloring so no second-guessing. As always, this superior Class J and RK1 circuit protection reduces downtime, inventory, equipment damage and improves safety.

Low-Peak fuses with indication are now available in the following series:

• LPJ-_ SPI 600Vac, 6-600A

• LPN-RK_SPI 250Vac, 35-600A

• LPS-RK_ SPI 600Vac, 6-600A

Bussmann Low-Peak fuses reduce inventory by replacing multiple SKUs; free up shelf space, eliminate paper work and experience dramatic reductions in inventory carrying costs. The Bussmann Low-Peak Upgrade Program can demonstrate actual inventory savings at www.bussmann.com/services/lowpeak. Then check out the cross reference tool at www.bussmann.com/products/search/index.asp, a handy way to get the advantages of a Low-Peak fuse alternative to a competitor's fuse.

Like all Bussmann Low-Peak fuses, this line extension offers time-delay overload protection and a high 300,000A interrupting rating for all commercial and industrial applications. Low-Peak fuses, with their high degree of current limitation, significantly reduce the available energy to faulted circuits and minimize arc-flash and arc-blast hazards. They also provide simple selective coordination to limit the area affected by an outage when a fault occurs. Properly sized and coordinated, Low-Peak products provide Type 2 "no damage" motor starter protection.
