Two rack unit high panel fits 8 TPA fuse position per power feed, with each position able to handle 50 A fuse. Unit also integrates 20 GMT fuse positions (10 per feed) for power distribution to traditional low-current equipment. Input power terminals accept 2-hole compression lugs for up to 750 MCM cabling.

Telect Releases High-Capacity TPA Fuse Panel with 350-Amp Input, Universal Operating Voltage


LIBERTY LAKE, Wash., Dec. 10 -- Telect, Inc. (http://www.telect.com/) today released a new combination TPA/GMT fuse panel that functions seamlessly in ±24V or -48V, networks, enabling usage in traditional applications and next-generation topologies.

Engineered for high-amperage power distribution applications in communications networks, the panel also features a 350-amp input, which provides industry-leading input power capacity for a compact TPA fuse panel.

In just two industry-standard rack units of height (approximately 3.5 inches), the dual-feed panel fits eight TPA fuse position per power feed, with each position able to handle up to a 50-amp fuse. The panel also integrates 20 GMT fuse positions (10 per feed) so that users can distribute power to traditional low-current equipment as well -- all in a single space-saving unit.

Other key features include:

o Robust input power terminals that accept secure two-hole compression lugs for up to 750 MCM cabling

o High input rating of 350 amps per feed, providing more efficient use of the 8 TPA and ten GMT fuses per side

o Universal voltage that automatically accepts ±24V, -48V

o Staggered-height output terminals that enable easy cable management

o Clear cover included to protect connections and enable visual inspection
