Thwing-Albert Unveils New Friction / Peel Tester
Thwing-Albert introduces the new FP-2255 Friction / Peel Tester. The FP-2255 replaces the FP-2250 Friction Peel model. The major changes in the FP-2255 involve improvements in the software and simplifying the user interface. The new menu design of the FP-2255 provides more test results with fewer keystrokes. The FP-2255 now allows the user to test to a specific distance or a specific time.
The FP-2255 can be configured to measure the static and kinetic coefficient of friction, seal strength, and peel properties of plastic film, paper, paperboard, adhesives, labels, and packaging materials. The FP-2255 offers accessories to do lightweight tensile testing (up to 10 lbs 4.5 kg), 90° Peel, T-Peel, Delamination fixture, and a Heated Platen for testing up to 177° C (350° F).
