April 3, 2007 - While Drainer NLD Series removes liquids from pressurized air or gas systems, Venter NAV Series removes air and other gases from pressurized liquid systems. Both provide automatic, positive shutoff and proper seating under all operating conditions and instantly adjust to variations in flow and pressure. Offered in ½ x ½ in. and ¾ x ½ in. sizes with NPT connections, corrosion- and freeze-resistant valves are rated for pressures to 400 psig and temperatures to 500°F.

Free-Float Lever Liquid Drainer and Air Venter


Spence Engineering Company, of Walden, NY, announces its' Drainer NLD Series free-floating liquid drainer and Venter NAV Series free-floating air venter. These valves are used on pressurized air, gas, and liquid systems such as: hydronic heating systems, cooling systems, and liquid chilling operations. The Drainer NLD will remove liquids from pressurized air or gas systems and the Venter NAV will remove air and other gases from pressurized liquid systems.

Available in sizes ½" x ½" and ¾" x ½" with NPT connections, for pressures to 400 PSIG, and temperatures to 500°F, the Drainer NLD and the Venter NAV are maintenance free, float operated valves that have corrosion resistant, stainless steel components, and tamper proof sealed welded bodies that resist freezing. These valves provide automatic, positive shutoff, and proper seating under all operating conditions and will instantaneously adjust to variations in flow and pressure.
