Hitachi Introduces New Framing Nailer for Wire Weld Fasteners

NORCROSS, GA- Hitachi Power Tools today announced a new 3-1/2" Wire Weld Framing Nailer, the NR90AF. The lightweight design and powerful driving, typical of a Hitachi quality tool, are now available in a nailer for offset round head wire weld nails. Full of features for convenient operation and superior performance, this nailer
is ideal for framing, siding, decking, pallet assembly, trusses and sheathing.

Using nails from 2" to 3-1/2" in length, the NR90AF can fasten stacks of engineered
lumber. With a simple dial adjustment, the integrated tool-less depth of drive allows for perfectly flush fastening of various materials. A hardened claw tip reduces wear on the nose and minimizes slippage when driving at an angle, or "toe-nailing."

The rear loading, high capacity magazine holds up to 100 nails at a time so more work can be done without frequent interruptions. When the tool is empty or if the nail count runs low, a dryfire lockout mechanism prevents the nailer from firing without a fastener. This feature extends tool service life by reducing unnecessary wear. The 28° angled magazine is made of extruded aluminum for added durability and has been thoughtfully designed with a separate mounting bracket to prevent expensive repairs.

At only 7.3lbs, the NR90AF is designed to be balanced in the user's hand for minimum fatigue. A long-lasting non-slip grip surface keeps the handle at a comfortable temperature in all seasons.

Depending on the application, the NR90AF allows the user to switch between sequential actuation or "bump" firing modes with a quick flip of a switch located near the trigger- no tools and no hassle. And in the event of a lodged nail, the open nose design provides easy access to clear the jam.

The NR90AF comes with Hitachi's industry leading 5-year warranty and a pair of safety glasses. It is an ideal nailer for framers and others in the building industry who demand convenience, performance, and reliability.
