Along with audio capability, Picolo V16 is PCI Express 1-lane board that implements 32 GPIO lines and pass-through buffered video output with cascade capability. Each video input simultaneously delivers raw and compressed video stream. Compressed images can be stored on hard disc or transferred by network, while uncompressed images can be immediately displayed or used for video analytics. Both streams are independently configurable for frame rate and resolution.

Multipix Launch the Picolo V16 Framegrabber with H.264 Compression
The Picolo V16 H.264 from Euresys is an outstanding video capture board with audio capability featuring H.264 on-board compression for 16 video inputs.
Each video input delivers simultaneously a raw and compressed video stream. The compressed images can be stored on the hard disc or transferred by the network while the uncompressed images can be immediately displayed or can be used for video analytics. Both streams are independently configurable: frame rate control, resolution control, can be set autonomously while overlay and masking features are available on both streams. The Picolo V16 H.264 is a PCI Express 1-lane board and implements, for system integration, 32 general-purpose I/O lines and a pass-through buffered video output with cascade capability. The H.264 encoding has tremendous advantages that make it the best suited compression standard for security applications. It offers high image quality on top of low bit rate and low storage requirement.
