Supporting 3 TB drives, DS411+II 4-Bay DiskStation offers up to 12 TB of storage in desktop configuration in variety of volume types, including Synology Hybrid RAID for automated volume management. Device runs DiskStation Manager v3.1, which enables remote access and administration. Included software also has access control lists (ACLs) for simplified control of file permissions, and ADS support that allows for integration with domains up to 100,000 user/groups.

Synology Announces Its Latest Professional 4-Bay DiskStation, the DS411+II
REDMOND, Wash. - Today, Synology America Corp. announced the release of the DS411+II, the successor to the DS411+. Like its predecessor, the high-performance DS411+II runs the renowned DiskStation Manager (DSM) 3.1.
Supporting 3TB drives, the DS411+II offers up to 12TB of storage in a desktop configuration. The storage can be configured in a variety of volume types, including Synology Hybrid RAID (SHR) for automated volume management. It is slated to release for under $670.

DSM 3.1 offers users an intuitive desktop-style interface to help users minimize the learning curve for management. Running entirely within a browser, it simplifies remote access and administration.
