Hi-Speed F805-F Formula Batch Controller

UNITED CONTROL SYSTEMS, INC. announces a new product for the North American marketplace, especially for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries - the hi-speed F805-F Formula Batch Controller.

The key advantage of this design is the ability to run multiple formulas with many ingredients - all without a PLC.

Each of the 200 stored formulas can have up to a 30-step sequence to control 5 ingredient supply bins. Two speed filling, with jog feature controls each ingredient. Expansion to 16 bins is available with a plug-in expansion card. Ingredients and formulas are identified with alpha-numeric names for ease of use. Accumulations are maintained for each formula giving total weight, number of batches processed and ingredient totals. A higher accumulation level maintains the grand total of all formulas processed.

Data acquisition features high-speed A/D conversion, with rolling average calculations, to give a true 200 weighing results per second.

Set up and operation is from the color touch screen display - or via a standard RS-232 port with free utility supplied by the manufacturer. Using this software, the formula can be read, archived, modified and then written back into the instrument.
