July 9, 2004 - On/off foot switch control, Model 1430A plugs into any 115 V pump under 15 A with no connectors or fittings necessary. Made of black painted steel for continuous use, IP20-rated unit features nonskid base and foot treadle pads that ensure secure footing during repeated operations. Positive, over-center, rocker-type action requires only light pressure to operate. Eight foot line cord allows connection to out-of-reach pumps.

Welch Introduces Hands-Free Control for Its Pumps
Welch's hands-free maintained on/off foot switch control Model 1430A was designed with you in mind. Just plug it in and you're ready to go-No special connectors or fitting necessary. The Welch foot switch is lightweight (7 oz.) and made of durable black painted steel for continuous use. The nonskid base and foot treadle pads ensure secure footing during repeated operations.
The 1430A's ease of use design (just plug it in) and an 8 Ft. line cord gives you the added features of connecting to those out of reach pumps that are often kept out of sight. Add the foot switch's ability to connect to any 115 V pump* under 15 amps and you have the one foot switch that every application must have.
To reduce operator fatigue Welch has incorporated a positive over center rocker type action making only light pressure necessary to operate. A low profile, lightweight, ease of use, broad application capabilities, IP20 rating and CSA and UL certifications makes the Welch 1430A maintained foot switch a must have.
