January 29, 2010 - Demag FDR 20 foot-mounted hoist, The Workhorse, features reeving components fitted to unit, with 2/1, 4/1, or 4/2 reeving arrangements depending on application. Compact device supports flexible mounting arrangements due to multiple connection options and has 1 rope guide for all rope lead-off variations. It includes modular electrical equipment, lubricated gearbox, and low-vibration motor. Controlled via cable connection or by radio, hoist also includes overload protection.

The New Demag FDR 20 Foot Mounted Hoist: The Workhorse


The FDR foot-mounted hoist range is now complete with the new FDR 20 for loads up to 50 tonnes. The compact FDR 20 workhorse is supplied as standard with the reeving components fitted to the hoist, with a 2/1, 4/1 or 4/2 reeving arangement depending on the application. The largest member of the FDR range also features the benefits of the successful DR rope hoist, combined with the additional advantages of the many possible applications thanks to four different mounting positions with free rope lead-off in all directions.
