New Slicer/Applicator Upgrades Enhance Sanitation and Performance
(Columbus, Ohio) Grote Company will showcase new upgrades to its signature slicer/applicator 530E model at PROCESS EXPO, Booth 1406, demonstrating numerous design improvements that enhance both sanitation and performance.
For superior sanitation and cleanliness, the 530E now features sloped and hermetically sealed framing and an open frame design with all control electronics located outside the slicer's main body. Additional sanitation improvements include a solid nylube clevis on the main crank arm, scalloped bearing bar support mounts to minimize seams and a newly redesigned curved thickness tray that easily removes without tools. Optional upgrades include a remote electrical enclosure (wall or pedestal mount), sanitary leveling feet and a stainless steel 2-bolt cluster drive crank bearing. The new design elements offer processors the highest degree of sanitation and durability in harsh wash down environments.
For optimal performance and durability, the 530E Slicer/Applicator includes several new standard features that reduce maintenance downtime including a clutchless cluster drive system (electric models only) and a modified upper cabinet door for easier access to the servo-motor and gearbox. The 530E now offers full 6" stroke capability, eliminating the need to make mechanical adjustments when slicing larger products. Optional upgrades include a rugged mechanical door lock system and replaceable cluster box pull-pin bushings, further reducing maintenance down time on high wear components.
