Sarasota, FL, February 12, 2009 - Interstate Products Inc. continues to expand their spill containment berm product line with the introduction of the new economical foam wall Ready E-Z Berm.
This versatile new E-Z Berm offers features that make it ideal for incidental spill control. The lightweight one-piece design requires no assembly, can be deployed easily in a matter of seconds and folds down to a compact size for easy storage and transport. The E-Z Berm is ideal to use in a manufacturing plant for temporary storage of batteries, drums and maintenance parts. The compact size and portability also makes it ideal to provide immediate spill response at jobsites for leaking tanks, vehicles, equipment and machinery.
The standard E-Z Berm is manufactured using a heavy-duty reinforced nylon fabric that is ideal for containment of most common spills. Optional fabrics, such as 30 mil XR-5® geomembrane, are also available and can be matched according to specific customer requirements for spill containment. The E-Z Berm is available with either 2" or 4" foam sidewalls that compress and return to their original shape after pressure is applied. This unique feature allows for easy entry and exit of equipment or vehicles into the containment area.
The E-Z Berm is available in 9 standard sizes starting with the economical 2' x 2' and going up to 10' x 10' for larger applications. These berms can also be manufactured in custom sizes and shapes with personalized logos or labeling to meet the demands of virtually any containment requirement. Every E-Z Berm is built to exacting quality standards and all seams are joined using a 3" weld to provide additional strength and durability.
