Along with 165°F temperature rating and 4.9 K factor, Model VK476 pendent sprinkler is cULus listed for up to 20 x 20 ft rooms. Hydraulically-efficient unit is available in 3 standard finishes - white, black, and wood beam finish, and includes slip-on outer ring for up to 5/8 in. of vertical adjustment. It can be used with sloped ceilings with 4/12 pitch, and to protect ceilings with beams up to 10 in. in depth, with sprinkler installed on underside of beam.

Viking Introduces New Flush-Style Residential Sprinkler
Hastings, Michigan, USA - Viking Corporation, a worldwide leader in fire protection and life safety systems, is pleased to introduce a new 4.9 (71) K factor, "flush-style" sprinkler to its leading FreedomŽ residential line. With its low flow and pressure requirements, the new model VK476 pendent sprinkler is both a hydraulically-efficient and aesthetically-pleasing solution for protecting all types of residential applications, including ceilings with beams.
The new residential flush sprinkler is cULus listed for up to 20 x 20 ft (6.1 x 6.1 m) rooms. The sprinkler, which has a 165° F (74° C) temperature rating, is also listed for use with sloped ceilings with a 4/12 (18.4°) pitch. Additionally, the new sprinkler may be used to protect ceilings with beams up to 10 inches (254 mm) in depth, with the sprinkler installed on the underside of the beam.
With its low profile, the new FreedomŽ residential flush sprinkler has an attractive installed appearance. Included with the sprinkler is a slip-on outer ring, which enables up to 5/8 inch (16 mm) of vertical adjustment. The VK476 is offered in three standard finishes - white, black, and a special "wood beam" finish, which is designed to blend in with "bottom-of-beam" installations.
