Lamar Lighting's OccuSmart Product Line Now Includes High Frequency Motion Detecting Sensor Option
Lamar Lighting of Farmingdale, NY, a leading environmentally-friendly manufacturer of stock and custom made fluorescent lighting fixtures, has built on the popularity of its OccuSmart line of sensor controlled bi-level lighting with the introduction of OccuSmart HF. It utilizes a new high frequency motion sensor which can be mounted behind the diffusers of many of Lamar's fixtures, whereby the sensor is virtually undetectable yet offers a coverage pattern of up to 40'.
OccuSmart HF is well suited for enclosed fixture types such as parking garage luminaires, wall sconces, recessed troffers, as well as corridor and restroom lighting. Lamar Lighting will be offering a broad variety of luminaires utilizing this new technology. Control options include bi-level or full on/off. The OccuSmart HF has a built in ambient light sensor, which can be used to keep lamps off as needed during daylight hours reducing energy costs. All OccuSmart lighting fixtures are UL listed.
