New Caddy(R) FMBS16 Floor Mount Box Support Provides Easy Compliance To The ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - SOLON, Ohio, October 31, 2001 - The new CADDY FMBS 16 Floor Mount Box Support, from ERICO®, easily positions the center of electrical boxes 16" above the floor to comply with the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)Accessibility Guideline Standards.

The FMBS16 provides quick, easy and efficient compliance to new construction requirements. It allows mounting of 4" or 4 11/16" U.S. or Canadian boxes; 1-1/2" or 2-1/8" deep. Also, plaster rings can be mounted for low voltage applications. The FMBS16 can be mounted inside (using mounting tabs) or under floor track - independent of wall stud location.

Built-in far-side back support for 2 1/2", 3 1/2", and 4" metal or wood studs, eliminates stocking different size brackets. And, because just one bracket can be used for virtually all outlet types, the FMBS16 simplifies handling and inventory tracking.

For additional time-savings at the job site, electrical boxes can be preassembled to the FMBS 16.
