Operating over -52 to +260°C range, Chem-Calk® 1200-HT has 100% silicone formulation that facilitates gunning while promoting tooling as well as adhesion to most construction and industrial materials. Permanently flexible material consists of red, RTV, acetoxy-cure silicone that does not shrink and exhibits favorable weatherability. Compliant with range of standards ready-to-use formulation comes in 10.3 oz gunnable cartridge that can cover up to 100 linear feet with 1/8 x 1/8 in. seal.

Bostik Unveils Chem-Calk 1200-HT
Middleton, Mass. - Bostik Inc.'s Construction & Industrial (C&I) Business Unit has added a High Temperature silicone sealant to its Chem-Calk® 1200 Series.
Chem-Calk 1200-HT delivers excellent weatherability and an extreme temperature range of -52º C to 260º C. The 100% silicone formulation offers easy gunning, superb tooling and tenacious adhesion to most construction and industrial materials. The high-performance sealant does not shrink and is permanently flexible.
"Chem-Calk 1200-HT is ideal for sealing everything from exhaust stacks, ductwork and flanged pipe joints to industrial ovens and boilers, and electrical and electronic equipment," says James Downing, Bostik C&I Market Manager - Construction Products.
Downing says the product launch is part of Bostik's rapidly expanding Chem-Calk Silicone Solutions Program.

Chem-Calk 1200-HT is a red, RTV, acetoxy-cure silicone featuring extreme continuous and intermittent temperature capabilities. The ready-to-use formulation features an extended service life and is designed to lessen installation fatigue.
