Featuring 70 pins with 0.160 in. pin diameter and .800 in. stroke, Pinhead Flexible Fixturing utilizes quick-clamping, maintenance-free mechanism that quickly and precisely fixes parts on coordinate measuring machines. Pin base height for mounting workpiece is 4.75 in. to top of pins. Pinhead kit comes with four 1 in. risers, four 1.5 in. risers, four 2 in. risers, and 4 swivel mounting arms with standard 10 mm thread size.

Menomonee Falls, WI...Euro-Tech Corporation announces the introduction of new Pinhead Flexible Fixturing. Designed to quickly and precisely fix parts on coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), the system eliminates expensive special constructions to fix complex workpieces. This innovation will be showcased at IMTS - The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2010 being held at Chicago's McCormick Place September 13-18. Pinhead Flexible Fixturing is ideal for staging parts on CMM's or vision inspection systems and will lower inspection costs and reduce inspection time.
Excellent for controlling costs because purchasing can be conducted on an as-needed basis. This modular clamping system can be combined and expanded as necessary. Standard features include:
Pin Base height for mounting the workpiece is 4.75" to top of pins

Options include a Pinhead kit that includes four base units, four 1" risers, four 1.5" risers, four 2" risers, four swivel mounting arms with standard 10mm thread size. The cost for the kit is $3495. Other modular pieces can be purchased separately: risers ($64/ea) swivel mounting arms ($88/each), magnetic base ($158), spring-loaded swivel clamp ($116), and pinhead swivel clamps ($68 - $78).
