November 26, 2002 - Series MEJ1 double-sided data links mate with MEC1 Series Mini-Edge Card connectors. Data links are available in 5 in. lengths with 60 conductors and in 10 in. lengths with 40 conductors. Mini-Edge Card connector styles include vertical, right-angle, and edge mount. Pin counts from 10–140 are available for mating with .062 in. thick printed circuit boards. Polarized connectors have board-lock feature that provides secondary retention.

Mini Edge Card & Flex Cable Data Links Available From Samtec
Double-sided flex cable Data Links (MEJ1 Series) for mating with Mini-Edge Card connectors on 1mm (.0394”) pitch are available from Samtec. The double-sided, 1mm pitch design is a robust alternative to single row FFC jumpers on .5mm (.0197”) pitch. Samples of the MEJ1 Series are available in 5” (12,7cm) length with 60 conductors and in 10” (25,4cm) length with 40 conductors. Other lengths are available upon request.
Mating Samtec Mini-Edge Card connector (MEC1 Series) styles include vertical, right-angle and edge mount designs. Pin counts from 10 to 140 are available for mating with .062” (1,60mm) thick printed circuit boards. The MEC1 Series is polarized as standard, and a board lock feature is in design to provide secondary retention for the right-angle version when mated to the MEJ1 data link or .062” (1,60mm) printed circuit edge card.
