November 3, 2004 - SmartScanâ„¢ 121 microprocessor flame scanner senses presence and condition of flames in various applications. Suited for coal, oil, gas, and non-standard fuel scanning, it features bar graph display, -40º to +140ºF operating temperature, and discrimination techniques. Pilot and ignition systems, available in oil-electric, gas-electric, and direct-spark, offer capacities up to 30 MM BTU/h standards and operate under all furnace and combustion air conditions.

Shelton, Conn. – Hamworthy Peabody Combustion Inc. will spotlight the new SmartScan™ 121 microprocessor flame scanner as well as their industrial pilot/ignition capabilities at booth #5341 at the 2004 Power-Gen Show November 30 – December 2 in Orlando, Florida.

The new SmartScan 121 microprocessor flame scanner accurately and reliably senses the presence and condition of flames in a broad range of applications. This leading flame technology is suitable for coal, oil, gas and non-standard fuel scanning. It features an easy to read bar graph display, wide operating temperature (from -40º to 140º F) and proven discrimination techniques.

Hamworthy Peabody’s pilot and ignition systems are the industry standard for continuous trouble-free operation.
