Latter products enable production of FR cotton, polyester, and cotton/polyester fabrics durable up to 50 laundry cycles.

ICL-Industrial Products Announces TexFRon(TM), a Next-Generation Sustainable Flame Retardant Product Line for the Textile Industry
BEER SHEVA, Israel -- ICL Industrial Products (ICL-IP) today announced the launch of TexFRon(TM) product line, next-generation flame retardants developed to provide a sustainable textile fire safety solution. The TexFRon(TM) product line's efficiency reduces the textile end-product chemical footprint.
TexFRon(TM) products are water-based dispersions designed to meet stringent flame retardant requirements for a broad range of fabric finishes. Pre-launch field testing has confirmed that TexFRon(TM) product line is sustainable and durable, even after many washing cycles.
The TexFRon(TM) series includes four separate products:
- TexFRon 9025 and TexFRon 9020: flame retardancy solutions for soak-and-wash-durable FR coating and back-coating formulations.
- TexFRon P and TexFRon P+: flame retardancy solutions based on acrylic co-polymer emulsions with chemically-bound bromine. Designed to enable textile formulators and finishers to produce FR cotton, polyester and cotton/polyester fabrics durable up to 50 laundry cycles.
