Measuring 0.60 x 0.60 x 0.13 in., Model SFS1685A-LF features typical phase noise of -106 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and typical sideband spurs of -80 dBc. Unit delivers output power of 6 dBm with VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 31 mA and phased locked loop voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing 9 mA over temperature range of -40 to 85°C. Featuring typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -25 dBc, L-band synthesizer is suited for satellite communication and GPS applications.

1685 MHz Fixed Frequency Synthesizer
Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant Fixed Frequency Synthesizer model SFS1685A-LF in L-band. The SFS1685A-LF is a single frequency synthesizer that operates at 1685 MHz. This Synthesizer features a typical phase noise of -106 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical sideband spurs of -80 dBc.
The SFS1685A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 6 dBm with a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 31 mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing 9 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This Fixed Frequency Synthesizer features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -25 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's PLL-V12N package with low shield measuring 0.60 in. x 0.60 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The SFS1685A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
