Fixed Frequency Synthesizer: SFS10640H-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise



Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant Fixed Frequency Synthesizer model SFS10640H-LF. The SFS10640H-LF is a single frequency synthesizer that operates at 10.64GHz with an external 100MHz reference oscillator and features a typical phase noise of -98 dBc/Hz @ 10kHz offset.



The SFS10640H-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3dBm with a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 90mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing 45mA (typical). This Fixed Frequency Synthesizer features a typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -30 dBc and spurious suppression of -65 dBc. It is housed in Z-Comm's standard SFS-L1 package measuring 1.0 in. x 1.0 in. x 0.22 in. The SFS10640H-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and is available in tape and reel packaging.



SFS10640H-LF is an excellent choice for Microwave Radio links, Radar Systems and various other applications while operating over the industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C.
