New Fitting for High Temperature, High Pressure Analysis
Upchurch Scientific has introduced a new polymer fingertight fitting able to withstand up to 200°C/392°F. Made of polyketone (PK), this new fitting exhibits biocompatibility comparable to PEEK(TM). The High Temperature Fingertight is rated to 6,000 psi (414 bar) at 200°C, and to 12,000 psi (827 bar) at ambient temperatures, making it ideal for applications where a metal fitting is unsuitable, such as protein analysis and ion chromatography.
