New Fire-Rated Doors and Frames for Industrial Applications
MARSHALL, ARK. — Universal Pultrusions, LLC, a manufacturer of pultruded fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) door systems for industrial applications, has announced the release of a new fire-rated door system.
The FR Series of fiberglass doors and pultruded fiberglass frames are available with fire ratings of 20, 45, 60 and 90 minutes. Complete systems can include door panels in singles up to 4’ x 8’ or pairs up to 8' x 8', and framing components at depths of 5-3/4" or 6-3/4" with 2" heads.
All FR Series doors are tested in accordance with UBC 7-2, NFPA 252 and UL 10C requirements. They’ve also passed the 1-1/2 hour positive pressure test, hose stream test, and 250 degree temperature rise tests, and are labeled by Intertek.
