April 6, 2006 - Comprised of IFP-50/100/1000 and VIP models, IFP Series supports synchronization of System Sensor A/V appliances in addition to Gentex, Wheelock, and Hochiki products. It provides USB port for laptop computer compatibility and promotes accelerated upload/download rates via KnightLink data compression software. Series also includes IFP-Net Fire System Manager, a PC-based system that monitors and graphically displays status of fire control panels.

Silent Knight Announces Enhanced IFP Series of Products


MAPLE GROVE, Minn. - Silent Knight, a provider of industry-wide compatible fire alarm solutions for small to mid-sized institutions and commercial sites, introduces its expanded IFP Series of products, including the IFP-50, IFP-100, IFP-1000 and VIP models. The upgraded products now conform to the new standards mandated by UL, as well as offering enhanced features and benefits. The IFP Series product line now supports synchronization of System Sensor A/V appliances in addition to the existing Gentex, Wheelock and Hochiki products. A USB port has been added to increase compatibility with laptop computers. All products in the line now upload and download five times faster due to KnightLink data compression software upgrades, and the IFP-1000 has an increased power supply of six amps.

The IFP series ensures that the end user requirements can be met with the most appropriate and economical fire alarm solution, regardless of application or facility size. For instance, smaller sites that require less addressable devices can use the IFP-50 while medium and large applications can use the IFP-100/IFP-1000. ). The series also includes the IFP-Net Fire System Manager, a PC-based system that monitors Silent Knight's fire control panels. The IFP-Net features an easy-to-use interface that gives users the ability to graphically capture and display fire events and conditions throughout a facility.

In addition, integrated voice panels are all-in-one products offering all of the features of Silent Knight's well-known fire control panels, plus the added convenience and utility of a voice evacuation system.
