New Tube End Finishing Machine Provides Ultimate Operator Safety with Optimum Accuracy and Surface Finish

After two (2) years in development, Tools For Bending, Inc. has perfected a new type of tube end finishing machine using a CARTRIDGE SPINDLE. It provides unprecedented accuracy and deburring, both I.D and O.D. and squaring of re-cut tubing up to 2.0 inch O.D.

The full lexan shield completely protects the operator. If this shield is opened, it automatically shuts off the motor and disables the clamping jaws. An emergency stop button is also ergonomically located to ensure the operator's safety. A high-intensity halogen work light on a flexible holder provides excellent visibility.

The heavy duty 1 H.P. motor is controlled by a variable speed drive (0-1500 R.P.M.). It ensures overload capacity with a wide selection of R.P.M. for various tubing material and prolonged blade life. The quick change tooling reduces set-up time for tube beading, flaring, and 90 degree flanging.

Locking jaws are pneumatically operated and can be quickly adjusted for positive tube clamping without marking the tube. Available to the operator is an automatic rigid tube stop. The optional base also has storage for tooling and blades.

The safety features of this machine complies with the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC, IEC 204, EN 60204, DIN VDE 0113, and UL 508. Additional techniques, pricing and delivery information can be found at www.toolsforbending.com.
