RPA Process Technologies Introduces Design Enhancements To Reduce Costs and Maintenance with its Exclusive Ronningen-Petter Brand AFR-Series Filters

The exclusive AFR-Series design replaces multiple valves found in other systems with a single rotating diverter. Now, through a continuous improvement program, RPA Process Technologies introduces a new actuator design that requires even less maintenance, provides more power and torque than the original AFR, offers longer seal life and is rated for more rotations.

At the same time, AFR-Series filters now come with an optional large-tube body design. The optional six-inch tubes can be ordered in place of the standard four-inch version and enable
AFR to address filtration at low retentions and high flows more economically than ever. This design option enables customers to double flow capacities over the traditional AFR filter in the
same exclusive small-footprint design. The six-inch option is ideal for flow capacity at low, flow-restricting retentions of less than 100 microns.

AFR is an exclusive design and competes with alternative technologies like traditional in-line filters that require more floor space and increased maintenance and service due to the significantly increased number of moving parts. The new automation and large body options are further enhancements to an industry-exclusive product. The value-add benefits can be
demonstrated in dollars through a break-even or cost comparison. Contact your nearest representative for additional information.

RPA Process Technologies manufactures the broadest, deepest portfolio of fine filtration, turnkey liquid/solid separation and mixing systems available on the market. An integration of five niche market leaders -- Ronningen-Petter, Aoustin, Filtres Philippe, Filtres Vernay, Malaxeurs Guittard - the company boasts more than a century of experience that enables custom-tailored solutions at an unparalleled range of liquid process conditions.
