They are available in black, are manufactured from UL 94V-0 flame-resistant plastic, and feature washable nylon fiber filter media. Orion Fans Develops Heavy-Duty, Filtered Louvered Fan Guards for Enclosure Applications
DALLAS, TX - Dallas-based Orion Fans, a division of Knight Electronics and a leading manufacturer of standard and custom AC and DC fans, fan trays and accessories, has expanded its line of fan accessories with louvered fan guards. The LFG120B and LFG172B louvered fan guards are a heavy-duty filtered guard designed to prevent dust and dirt from entering enclosure applications. The fan guards also serve as a safety mechanism to protect fingers from being injured by the fan blades.
"Not only do we offer the louvered fan guards in sizes suitable for the two most popular fan sizes (120mm and 172mm fans), but these fan guards are also the lowest-cost louvered guards in the industry," said David Luna, Orion Fans' product marketing manager. "Available with or without a filter, these fan guards are ideal for use in industrial cabinets, server cabinets and server rack applications."
Available in black (gray guards are also available as a special order), the louvered fan guards are manufactured of UL 94V-0 flame-resistant plastic, and the filter media is a washable nylon fiber. Mounting hardware is also included with the guards.
The louvered fan guards complement Orion's comprehensive line of fan accessories, including wire and wire mesh finger guards, filter kits, plastic guards, fan cords, daisy chains, and 3-conductor standard and custom AC power cords.
