July 5, 2004. Louisville, KY. Airguard has announced Vari+Plus® VP, an extended surface filter for HVAC and turbine intake applications.
Vari-Plus VP features lightweight, all-plastic construction, with no rivets, screws, faceguards or cross bars. It's incinerable, and moisture and chemical resistant.
Vari-Plus VP filters feature Dura-Tuff 100% synthetic media. This durable new media technology is exclusive to Airguard. It is used in a dual layer for efficiency at MERV 15 and has a high dust holding capacity. Dura-Tuff is exceptionally resistant to tearing, abrasion and rough handling.
The rigid cell of the Vari+Plus VP makes it well-suited to challenging conditions, including high air flow, variable air volume, turbulence, repeated fan shutdown and high moisture. Vari-Plus VP filters are classified Underwriters Class 2.
