February 29, 2008 - Featuring total energy transfer system, temperature-controlled Filter Fluorometers come in 3 models, 2 using photomultiplier detectors and 1 using photodiode detector. All models can display results as either raw fluorescence or in concentration units based on 1-6 calibration points. User interface enables methods to be created and stored, while Intelligent Filter Modules ensure correct excitation and emission filters are fitted.

Introducing Temperature Controlled Fluorometers from Techne Inc

Three Models are available to cover a wide variety of applications.

Total Energy Transfer (TET) system for maximum sensitivity
Create and Save secure methods
Intelligent Filter Modules (IFM) ensure correct filters are fitted
Kinetic (timed reading) functions

Jenway have announced the launch of a new range of filter fluorometers. The two most sensitive models in this range use photomultiplier detectors, one offering an extended emission wavelength range to 850nm. A third model uses a photodiode detector to satisfy many applications at a budget price.

All models in the range can display results as either raw fluorescence or in concentration units based on one to six calibration points.

The simple user interface enables methods to be created and stored, while the Intelligent Filter Modules (IFM) ensure the correct excitation and emission filters are fitted.

For enzyme kinetic or temperature sensitive assays an optional electrically controlled heated cuvette holder can be fitted. For automated, continuous monitoring, or the injection of discrete samples into flow-through sample holders, an optional programmable sipper pump is also available.
