August 13, 2002 - Knitted Wire Mesh Filter Elements (KWFE) offer alternative to sintered metals, plastics, paper, and cloth. Continuous lengths of uniform interlocking wire loops strengthen KWFE to provide vibration resistance. Available in plastic and metal alloy materials, KWFE can be used in applications that require flame resistance. Wire gauge, knit spacing, and degrees of compression provide various filtration pressure drop and solids retaining characteristics.
