Beamex Introduces The World's First FieldBus Calibrator
Fieldbus installations are growing rapidly worldwide. The reasons are extremely clear-fieldbus systems increase efficiency and cost savings by lowering commissioning costs and by delivering better and more detailed information to support maintenance operations. The fieldbus market itself is large, but two systems stand out above a others: the Foundation Fieldbus and the Profibus. They both already have a very large installed base at present.
Although fieldbus transmitters represent advanced technology; they still need to be calibrated. Until now, calibrating fieldbus transmitters has been complicated and time-consuming -it has required typically two persons and a fieldbus system that is in operational use.
