Aven ProLux Fiber-Optic Illuminator Assures Uniform Inspection Lighting
A new generation of reliable, high-performance lighting for microscopes and visual inspection systems is provided by the ProLux LED Illuminator, which surpasses the performance of halogen technology in multiple ways.
This fiber-optic illuminator from Aven, Inc. consumes half the energy of 150-watt halogen illuminators and operates in virtual silence. In addition to substantially lower power costs, the ProLux model offers higher intensity, better color and longer lamp life.
"The illuminator's reliability, noise reduction and cost savings deliver significant advantages, particularly on shop floors or inspection areas with multiple modules," says Aven president Mike Shahpurwala. "It also has a small footprint and a rugged case – ideal for mounting or stacking in tight work spaces."
