May 19, 2006 - Fiber Management System consists of MTP®/MPO Fiber Cable Assemblies, QuickConnect Cassettes, and Rackmount Patch Enclosure. Fan-Out Cables utilize 12-fiber MTP® connector on one end and discrete connectors (LC, SC, FC, ST) on breakout end. Cassettes break out 12-fiber cable inputs into standard discrete connectors. Enclosure accepts up to 3 cassettes/adapter plates, measures 19 x 12 x 1.75 in., and features tray, mounting brackets, cable glands, OFN cable saddles, and front panel latches.

Fiber Management System: Fiber Cables, QuickConnect Cassettes, and Rack Mount Patch Enclosure


Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces its Fiber Management System. The System includes single mode and multi-mode fiber Fan-Out Cables. Designed to save front-panel space and streamline fiber management, the MTP®/MPO Fan-Out utilizes a 12-fiber MTP® connector on one end and discrete connectors (LC, SC, FC, ST) on the breakout end.

ESL's QuickConnect cassettes breakout the 12-fiber cable inputs into standard discrete connectors. The ESL Rackmount Patch Enclosure accepts up to three cassettes or adapter plates. The enclosure is 12" deep, 19" wide and 1.75" high. The complete enclosure consists of a tray, mounting brackets, bracket depth adjustment screws, cable glands, cable management spiders, OFN cable saddles, and front panel latches.

The 3 components: MTP®/MPO Fiber Cable Assemblies, the QuickConnect Cassettes, and the Rackmount Patch Enclosure complete the Fiber Management System.
