In addition to marking and engraving on both metals and plastics, Model LMF2000 can produce cuts in copper, steel, or aluminum up to 0.02 in. thick, enabling prototyping of lead frames, sheet parts, or steel tubes. Method uses no direct assist gas, and precise control over laser parameters enables cut to be tuned for quality with underside burr of less than 0.0005 in.

Cutting and Hole Drilling with a Fiber Laser Marker
