TineLok(TM) Expected to Revolutionize Fastener Industry

INDIANAPOLIS - September 7, 2005 - Wurth/Service Supply, today announced the immediate availability of the TineLok(TM) Fastening System. This unique product prevents the loss of clamp load in applications where vibration is present. Wurth/Service Supply further indicated that extensive testing conclusively proved that compared to other standard vibration resistant fasteners on the market today, TineLok(TM) scored far above all of the other widely used systems relative to maintaining clamp load in severe Junker vibration tests.

How It Works
The proprietary multi-patented bolt design is engineered with longitudinal channels along the thread. The TineLok(TM) nut incorporates three tines that engage the bolt thread and prevents rotation of the nut and loosening caused by vibration. The bolt design permits the multi-tined nut to lock into the bolt threads assuring a secure joint and maintenance of clamp load. This innovative fastener provides positive vibration resistance and requires no special tool for installation.
