New Vertigo from Powers Simplifies Overhead Rod Hanging
Powers Fasteners has vastly simplified overhead rod hanging with the introduction of Vertigo -- a system of three unique internally threaded anchors that save labor time and money over drop-in anchors when fastening into concrete, metal or wood.
With their ease of installation, Vertigo rod hanger anchors can save 50-60 percent in installation costs over traditional systems. Special thread formations provide the Vertigo anchors with superior holding power in overhead applications versus competitive systems- including heating, ventilation and air conditioning, overhead conduits, acoustical and drop ceilings and plumbing. Each version -- Concrete, Metal and Wood -- is available with an internally threaded coupling head for 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" diameter rod. The Metal and Wood Vertigo anchors also offer a side-mount style head for lateral installation of ľ" and 3/8" diameter rod on to joists, columns and trusses. Any of the Metal and Wood Vertigo anchors can be installed with the same driver and any tek-type drill screw at low RPMs (1100-2000), while each diameter Concrete Vertigo uses its own sized driver.
With 26 branch locations throughout North America, Powers Fasteners offers a complete range of mechanical and chemical anchoring systems, powder-actuated and gas-fired fastening systems and accessories. For more information, visit the website at www.powers.com, or call 1-914-235-6300.
