AAEON Releases Sleek 21.5" ACP-5217 and 18.5" ACP-5187 Fanless Multi-Touch Computers
(Taipei, Taiwan) — AAEON, a major developer of industrial computing solutions, today announces the fanless 21.5” ACP-5217 and 18.5” ACP-5187 multi-touch infotainment panel computers with Intel® Core™ i7/i5 or Celeron® Processors and Intel QM77 chipset. These models feature IP65 Waterproof front bezels with Anti-scratch Multi-touch Projected Capacitive Touch Screens (hardness 7H) and IPX1 back cover, which provides protection against spilled water. With rich optional accessories such as RFID, Magnetic Stripe Reader, Barcode Scanner, Bluetooth, Skype Phone and a WiFi Antenna, the ACP-5217 and ACP-5187 are ideal products for public infotainment and digital signage applications.

The ACP-5217 and ACP-5187 adopt the new Intel chipset QM77 with Intel Core i7/i5 or Celeron processors, with up to 4G DDR3 RAM inside. Both systems offer two 10/100/1000 Base-TX Ethernet and multiple OS Support, including Windows® XP (supports Single Touch), Linux (supports Single Touch)and Windows® 7 (supports Multi-Touch), while multiple I/O ports, such as the RS-232, six USB 2.0 (Two on rear), one Line-out, and a Mini Card slot allowing for versatile connectivity and expansion options. Both models incorporate one internal CFast™ Slot and a 2.5" SATA Hard Disk Drive for ample storage. ACP-5217 and ACP-5187 are the best choices in durable high performance multi-touch Panel PCs for infotainment and smart automation applications.
