Model EPS-AT270-2PCI offers fanless thermal design based on air flow theory, while top of chassis also has passive aluminum heat dissipation fins. Unit incorporates Intel® Atom(TM) N270 1.6 GHz processor with 512K Cache CPU and 200-pin DDR2 SODIMM as well as 2 PCI slots and USB, COM, Express Card, and GPIO ports. Supporting 9-32 Vdc power input, unit can withstand 5 Grms vibration, 50 Grms shock, and temperatures from -15 to +60°C in extreme environments.

Avalue Introduces Fanless Rugged Box System with Two PCI Slots, the EPS-AT270-2PCI
Avalue is releasing a rugged box PC, the EPS-AT270-2PCI, an extension of EPS-AT270 which is just awarded by the 18th Taiwan Excellence Product 2010. The EPS-AT270-2PCI gives two extra PCI card slots and is able to satisfy all demands in industrial fields, as well as fit in extreme environments.
Avalue's EPS-AT270-2PCI specs in the Intel® Atom(TM) N270 low-power technology processors. The fanless structure of thermal design is based on air flow theory; cold air entering the computer will "push" the hot air generated by the system through outlet. The top part of the chassis also contains passive aluminum heat dissipation fins, reducing material wastage and prolonging product lifetime. The EPS-AT270-2PCI can withstand industrial operation environments of temperature between -15°C to +60°C and extreme environment conditions and drastic temperature variations depending on the location or region it is placed or used in.
The EPS-AT270-2PCI comes with the most complete expandability, including USB, COM, Express Card, GPIO and especially added PCI slots. These features meet a wide array of multi-equipment industrial control connectivity usages. The sufficient expansions can cope with the versatile connections demanded in industrial fields, and meet the customer's needs.
Product reliability and stability are certified by industrial product quality tests, including anti-vibration of up to 5 Grms, and anti-shock of up to 50 Grms tests. EPS-AT270 Series use the industry-grade Phoenix Type or lockable power connector plug, and support a stable +9V to +32V wide voltage input. These conditions include using computer in industrial equipment and machines such as lifting gantry, forklift etc. The computer can also withstand tremors when it is being used on land transportations such as trains, thus extending and diversifying its applications.
