Sandvik Coromant CoroMill Facemills Now with Exchangeable Cassettes
The CoroMill 245 cutters are developed for rough to semi-finish milling of steel and cast iron whilst the main application area for the CoroMill Century system is semi-finish to mirror finish milling of aluminum, cast iron and hardened steel.
To make adjustments easy and to limit the maintenance costs Sandvik Coromant is now introducing an exchangeable cassett system for their CoroMill facemills.
The CoroMill cassette system is a flexible solution for medium up to large diameter face mills. Innovative design makes handling easy and adaption to individual requirements possible at reduced cost.
The design makes it easy to adjust the inserts axial positions for optimal surface finish or for the production of functional, all purposes surface textures.
Distinguishing for the CoroMill cassette system is easy to adapt to individual set ups, good basic accuracy thanks to precise location of cassette against cutter body and safe cassette locking by the wedge clamping.
