New Addition to DuPont(TM) Kalrez® Portfolio Offers Cost, Longevity and Seal Strength Benefits for Sensors, Sprayers, Injectors, and Microvalves

Offering meets demand from customers seeking large quantities of high performance perfluoroelastomer parts

GENEVA, - Today, DuPont announced the launch of Kalrez® CP222, a perfluoroelastomer part for use in demanding high volume industrial markets for applications such as sensors, sprayers, injectors, diving seals and microvalves. This exciting new development represents an expansion of the Kalrez® offering to meet the demand from industrial customers who require large quantities of high performance parts.

Kalrez® CP222 will enable manufacturers to reduce total operating sealing costs thanks to its longer seal life and excellent chemical and temperature resistance.

The Kalrez® CP222 commercial offering is designed for high volume industrial markets, for OEMs who require high volumes of specific parts. The standard offering is for more than 10,000 parts per order, with bulk packaging of 500 pieces per bag. It is best positioned for O-rings and custom parts with an outer diameter up to 2” (50.8 mm). Other sizes and shapes can be addressed through developmental projects in cooperation with the customer.

Kalrez® LS222 is an FDA and USP VI compliant high volume offering and is manufactured according to the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) to meet the high standards of safety, hygiene and quality control of the food and pharmaceutical industries. Both Kalrez® CP222 and LS222 offerings will allow customers to develop solutions that better meet their needs and the needs of their customers.
