July 30, 2004 - Made from weatherproof plastic, Extruded VBoard® protects against product damage during shipping and storage. It is 100% waterproof with glossy black finish. Standard sizes are available in leg lengths of 1.75 x 1.75 in. and 2.5 x 2.5 in. with calipers of 0.060, 0.090, and 0.120 in. Extruded VBoard® is suitable for produce, steel, lumber, and outdoor storage markets.

Laminations Expands Product Line with Plastic Extruded VBoard®

APPLETON, Wis., July 26, 2004-Laminations, part of Great Northern Corporation's Specialty Group, has launched Extruded VBoard®, the first plastic product line in its innovative family of edge-protection products.

Extruded VBoard®, made from strong, weatherproof extruded plastic, provides exceptional protection against product damage during shipping and storage. It takes up less space and provides tighter tolerances than paper edge protections without sacrificing strength. It is 100 percent waterproof and features a glossy black, high-quality finish.

The durable Extruded VBoard® is the perfect edge protection for produce, steel, lumber and outdoor storage markets. It also offers superior performance for product transport on flatbed trucks.

Standard sizes are available in leg lengths of 1.75" x 1.75" and 2.5" x 2.5" with calipers of 0.060", 0.090" and 0.120". Custom-extruded shapes can be developed for large-volume applications.
