Featuring local transmitter and remote/repeater unit, VGA over Cat5 Extender/Repeater Kit allows signal to be extended initial 1,000 ft at 1,024 x 768. Remote/repeater units can then be connected, allowing signal to be regenerated additional 1,000 ft, with up to 5 monitors (1 local, 4 remote) located at different points in daisy-chain. Using Cat5e/6 cable for installation, kits are suited for digital signage applications in classrooms and retail environments.

Tripp Lite Introduces New VGA over Cat5 Solutions
Chicago, IL -Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity products, has introduced a new series of VGA over Cat5 Extender/Repeater Solutions designed to receive and re-transmit VGA and VGA plus Audio signals over long distances.
The Extender/Repeater Kit features a local transmitter unit and a remote/repeater unit, allowing a signal to be extended an initial 1,000 ft. Remote/repeater units can then be connected, allowing the signal to be regenerated an additional 1,000 ft., with up to five monitors (one local, four remote) located at different points in a daisy-chain of up to 2,000 ft. Installation is cost-effective and simple with Cat5e/6 cable, allowing for inexpensive installation for digital signage applications in classrooms, retail environments and more.
