Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com Announces Addition of 150 Watt Explosion Proof LED Light Mast

Magnalight.com announced today the addition of the EPL-PLM-1x150LED-50 adjustable pole mounted explosion proof light to its hazardous location lighting lineup. Designed for easy deployment and convenient operation, this pole mounted LED light produces 10,000 lumens, is height adjustable, and can be mounted to walls and other flat surfaces. Adjustable from 3 to 12 feet in height, this light is easily removed from its mount and collapsed for transport or storage, making it an ideal high power lighting solution for temporary lighting applications.

The Magnalight EPL-PLM-1x150LED-50 adjustable pole mounted LED light is an explosion proof lighting solution for those seeking a powerful and versatile, yet portable lighting solution for hazardous locations. The 16 inch diameter LED light head on this unit produces 10,000 lumens of light in a wide flood pattern, allowing it to effectively illuminate 8,000 square feet of work area. The explosion proof light head is mounted to an adjustable telescoping pole that can be extended to 12 feet for maximum area coverage, and collapsed to three feet for easy storage and transport. The base of this pole is equipped with a mounting bracket that allows operators to mount the light to flat surfaces such as walls or the sides of trailers, and the pole and light assembly can be easily removed and compacted for storage when the light is no longer needed. The adjustable pole is constructed of non-sparking aluminum for safety and durability and is designed to allow operators to adjust the LED light both vertically and side to side for precise coverage. The LED light head is constructed of non-sparking aluminum as well, and has a LEXAN lens for resistance to damage from impacts or scratching. The LED light can operate with voltages ranging from 110-277 VAC, and is equipped with 50 feet of SOOW cord ending in an explosion proof plug for full hazardous location compliance. This explosion proof LED light is approved for Class 1 Division 1 & 2 and Class 2 Division 1 & 2 locations, and has a T5 temperature rating. This LED light offers cooler operation, 60,000 hour LED lamp life, and rugged construction that makes it ideal for industrial and commercial applications where value, power and versatility are important.

"The EPL-PLM-1X150LED-50 is one of those versatile lights that can be extended to 12 feet when you need to illuminate a dock or work area and then collapsed to 3 feet when the light is not needed," said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com. "Operators will find this versatile explosion proof light can be easily mounted to a wall or installed on a trailer or any flat surface in a hazardous location that good illumination is needed on an intermittent basis."

Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com carries an extensive line of explosion proof LED lights, hazardous location lights, intrinsically safe LED lights, portable explosion proof lights and intrinsically safe LED flashlights.
