Explosion Proof LED Light Fixture with Safety Cable Suspension Released by Larson Electronics
Kemp, Texas – Leading supplier of explosion proof and industrial grade lighting Larson Electronics announced the release of a new 150 watt explosion proof light fixture with a safety cable suspension mounting option. The EPL-HB-150LED-RT-100-1523-SCAB produces 12,000 lumens of light while drawing only 150 watts of power and can be operated on 100-277 volts.
Larson Electronics new EPL-HB-150LED-RT-100-1523-SCAB explosion proof cable suspended light fixture provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional hazardous location luminaries. This Class 1 Division 1 and 2, Class 2 Division 1 and 2 explosion proof light fixture is constructed of copper free aluminum alloy that is powder coated for added durability. The special heat dissipating design assists this fixture to achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. Because the unit is constructed with LED technology, the fixture is compact in size and has no ballast, resulting in a lighter and less obtrusive fixture that also requires less maintenance to operate. The LED assembly produces 12,000 lumens with a color temperature of 6000K and a color rendering index of 70 which renders colors and details more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries.
This Class 1 Division 1 explosion proof 150 watt light fixture is equipped with 100 foot safety cable for suspension mounting. This type of mounting is great for applications such as grain bins, elevators and towers in atmospheres such as petrochemical plants and refineries. This light is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 VAC, 50/60Hz without any need for a special ballast. This light is equipped with 100 foot of SOOW cable terminated in an explosion proof 1523 plug.
