Able to be used with heat transfer fluids or in liquid cooling applications, horizontal Ruffneck(TM) AH Series features core design that makes heater compliant with Category H fittings regulations in Alberta, Canada (CSA B51). Models range from 115-440 V and 6,000-1,200,000 BTU/hr and feature 450 psi max operating pressure and 650°F max operating temperature. Extruded aluminum louvers provide 2-way directional control of discharge air, and bolt-together cabinet facilitates maintenance.

Edmonton - CCI Thermal Technologies is pleased to announce the release of the newly improved Ruffneck(TM) AH Advanced Horizontal Explosion-Proof Unit Heater
The new AH Advanced Horizontal Unit Heater incorporates an enhanced core design making it the first and only heater of its type to meet new requirements for Category H fittings in the province of Alberta and as a result is the most advanced design on the market. The AH product line is available for shipment, as of April 15, 2011 with the Ruffneck(TM) standard, one week delivery lead time.
"Recent changes to the CSA B51 Boiler, Pressure Vessel, and Pressure Piping Code have altered the regulatory approval scope and interpretation of Category H fittings for use in Alberta," explains Michael Arbour-Neagoe, Vice President and General Manager.
