The ATX-20-SE explosion proof flashlight produces high light output and is fitted with an enhanced rechargeable battery pack for longer run time and longer battery life. This HID flashlight is approved for Class 1, Division 1 hazardous locations, but its high power and reliability makes it ideal for any application requiring long beam reach and long run times on a single charge

The ATX-20-SE Explosion Proof HID Flashlight with Enhanced Battery is a powerful HID flashlight designed to provide long beam reach and extended run times on a single charge.  Producing over 1,000 lumens and capable throwing a light beam over 2,000 feet in length, this HID flashlight is ideal for utilities and emergency responders who need a portable light source with the ability to effectively illuminate targets at long ranges.  This ATX-20-SE Explosion Proof HID Flashlight with Enhanced Battery is constructed with an aluminum body that is covered with a hard black anodized finish for durability and is fully sealed for IP68 rated waterproof protection.  The 20 watt HID bulb and high quality reflector in this flashlight produces 1200 lumens with a color temperature of 6,500K, resulting in a very powerful beam with good contrasting capabilities and a throw up to a 2,500 feet in length. The lithium ion battery pack in this flashlight is an enhanced unit that provides longer run times and better overall battery life than standard lithium ion batteries.  Operating time for this light is approximately 140 minutes on a full charge, and the 4800mAh lithium ion battery doesn't require confusing charging procedures in order to preserve battery life.  Operators can charge this unit partially or fully without worrying about shortening battery life, and conversely, the battery does not have to be fully depleted before recharging. This HID explosion proof flashlight is U.L. approved for a variety of hazardous location classifications including Class 1, Division 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, & D and Class 2, Division 1 and 2, Groups F & G, making it approved for use in locations where flammable gases and vapors are commonly present.  The ATX-20-SE explosion proof flashlight is ideal for utilities and petrochemical workers who frequently work outdoors inspecting lines and equipment and also ideal for industrial and commercial operators who need portable and powerful illumination that can withstand wet and abusive work environments.
