Sichelschmidt XP, C1D1 equipment is constructed and certified for the use in Class I, Divisions 1&2, Groups C&D explosion hazardous areas according to the US codes and regulations in place the use of electrical equipment in these areas. Sichelschmidt equipment was tested and certified by the Nationally Recognized testing Laboratory, Factory Mutual Global (FM) in Norwood, MA to meet or exceed the standards as described in the most recent publications of the National Electrical Code, article 505, UL 1203 and UL 583.
Sichelschmidt EEx, Zone 1 equipment complies to IEC/CENELEC requirements for the use of electrical equipment in Zone 0, 1 and 2 explosion hazardous areas. Sichelschmidt equipment was tested and is certified by the international recognized German Federal Institute of Physics and Technology (PTB) in Braunschweig in compliance with the IEC/CENELEC and the Regulations for Flammable Liquids (VbF) Type of protection: EEx d II B 120oC.
