Maximum Durability For Air, Gas and Liquid Handling Applications Within Power Generation, Chemical Processing Plants

Lodi, CA - August 14, 2006 - Holz Rubber Company has introduced the addition of Severe Duty Fabric Expansion Joints to its line of high quality elastomer products.

RM-Holz(TM) Fabric Expansion Joints are specially engineered to help solve common air and gas handling problems, such as high acid concentrations, ammonia slip, ash accumulation and large pipe and duct movements in corrosive and high-temperature environments. Available compounds include Neoprene, Chlorobutyl, EPDM, FKM, and PTFE and alloy foil barriers to meet virtually any temperature or chemical challenge.

Reinforcing materials include alloy wire, fiberglass, aramid, polyester and flame retardant meta-aramids in either knitted or woven constructions. Insulation materials include engineered coated fabrics, needled fiberglass, silica and ceramic blankets. RM-Holz Fabric Expansion Joints utilize a variety of sealing technologies combined with thermal management products to create the most flexible, cost-effective and longest lasting expansion joint available today.

"The expanded RM-Holz line of Fabric Expansion Joints complements our existing line of high-quality, high performance elastomer expansion joints," commented David Smith, COO, of Holz Rubber. "Now, operators in virtually any severe power generation, or processing environment can take advantage of a single point of contact and single source accountability with our complete line of severe duty fabric and elastomeric
expansion joints," he concluded.
